Just as the 5 years of the Gorbatchov regime is also something the current government rather wants to forget rather then acknowled that both wanted to start a necessary reform, but failed to turn over the power of the nomenklatura, that more or less still reign the country by corruption and filling their own pockets and their heads with idea's about restoring Russia as a superpower, befor the interest of the people even come in sight.
