It has more and more become a state propaganda series. this one is about an small indiginous Crimean nation: the karaites. Interesting enough to learn about these people. A people of jewish descent altough their Mosaic religion is not recognized by the rabbinaic judaism, because they don't recognise the talmud and speak a Turcic language. For a long time it was believed they descended from the Chazars a turkisch people that became jewish around 700 bc. The karaite religion had an important founding impuls around that time too, Even the nazi didn't consider them jewish because of it, but nowadays science has found out differently.
